What to Expect We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented 5S Manager to oversee the implementation and maintenance of the 5S methodology within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for creating efficient and well-organized work environments. The 5S Manager will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence, and ensuring adherence to 5S standards throughout the organization.

What You'll Do

Develop and implement detailed 5S strategies, customizing plans for optimal workplace organization and efficiency
Lead engaging 5S training sessions across organizational levels to ensure deep comprehension and compliance
Conduct regular, thorough 5S audits, identifying areas for enhancement and elevating organizational efficiency
Collaborate with managers to establish meticulously designed 5S standards and procedures tailored to unique work areas
Drive cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions, employing root cause analysis for operational excellence
Monitor KPIs related to 5S implementation, tracking productivity, waste reduction, and cost-saving metrics
Provide personalized coaching on 5S best practices, champion automation opportunities, and communicate progress to senior management

What You'll Bring

5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or mechanical / engineering environment is preferred and factory knowledge

Specific experience in 5S and Safety practices is highly desirable

Understanding of lean manufacturing principles including 5S, Safety, and Training skills is beneficial

Expectational verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams)

Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the company

Ability to perform extensive auditing and excellent organizational skills
