Wieland is hiring a Tax Analyst . The Tax Analyst will be responsible for performing indirect and direct tax compliance projects, and will work closely with the Senior Tax Analyst, Tax Manager, as well as a team of internal professionals and external tax service providers. This role requires a hands-on supporting role for indirect tax and unclaimed property requirements. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys an excellent work environment and the challenge to learn and advance their career. Our goal is for all members of the tax team to feel empowered to develop and succeed in the workplace and beyond as we build a best-in-class tax department.

The role will reside in the Wieland North American headquarters in Louisville, KY, and can include a remote or hybrid option.

Responsibilities

Tax Analyst Responsibilities :

• Indirect Taxes

Support the processing of data used to complete the required Sales & Use Tax filings throughout North America.

Manage the data collection activity for Unclaimed Property compliance filings annually.

Assist the team in the calculation of the following :
