Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

What you will do in this role :

REQUIRED LICENSURE AND / OR CERTIFICATION

1.RN licensed in State of Texas / Compact.

2. BCLS certified

3.Current ACLS

REQUIRED EDUCATION :

Associates Degree or BSN

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED (list required and preferred separately

Critical Care Background

Dysrhythmia Recognition

Proficiency in EKG

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES :

Medical nursing unit experience preferred

Read and write basic English with basic skills necessary to transfer physician orders

Knowledge of body substance isolation

Ability to move in excess of100 pounds with assistance from others

Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Basic computer skills and proficiency

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skill complex medical terminology.
