Treasury Analyst

Our client in energy sector is looking to hire a Treasury Analyst for an initial term of 4 months in Houston. There is a very strong likelihood the role will either convert into a full-time role and/or extend.

**note this is a hybrid role in office 3 days per week in Houston.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee and manage projects across 47 countries, ensuring successful execution, adherence to timelines, and achievement of project goals.
• Working on special projects mainly with letters of credit, new global trade system assists with implementation for the global system.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
• Develop and maintain organized and accurate Excel files to track project progress, financials, and other relevant information.
• Regularly update and maintain applications and software systems used in the organization. Ensure that applications are functioning properly, troubleshoot any technical issues.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other quantitative or analytical field.
• Strong experience in processing Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantee, Bid Bonds and other collateral instruments.
• Experienced interacting with different stakeholders (business units, issuing banks, beneficiaries, legal counsels) on activities related to issuing Letters of Credit.
• Hands in - GTC platform, SWIFT, Tableau, MS Excel, NDEX/MATCH, Advance Conditional Formatting, Data Tables, Power Pivot etc)
• Expertise using Bloomberg.
