Office of Communications-Reporter / Producer

Under general supervision, the Reporter / Producer writes, reports, and produces news and public relations stories, including external and internal messaging, in English and / or Spanish. This position develops content for social media, streaming platforms, cable network programming, and City communication channels. The Reporter / Producer also creates specialized show concepts, scripts for press events, community programs, and messaging on behalf of City leadership and the McAllen City Commission.
