Things You’ll Do

Sample asphalt from hot plant and field.

Sample aggregates at pits and plants.

Control asphalt densities by roller patterns.

Core asphalt and fill out excel reports.

Perform data filing and quality assurance sample storage.

Calculate and report findings through computer programs.

Maintain insurable driving record.

Ensure a safe work environment.

Requirements

Preferred to have WAQTC : asphalt II & aggregates

High school diploma or general education (GED)

Knowledge of asphalt and aggregate products and industry quality standards.

Intermediate computer skills

Ability to safely move up to 70 lbs.

Develop knowledge of scales, shakers, ovens and sieves.
