Our client in San Diego, CA is seeking a skilled Tax Preparer to support their tax and accounting operations on a contract-to-permanent basis. This role is ideal for professionals looking to expand their expertise in individual and corporate tax preparation within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Review financial records, income statements, and documentation to ensure accurate filing
• Research and apply current tax laws and regulations
• Identify potential tax deductions and credits
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries
• Assist with tax planning and strategies to maximize client savings
• Support audit processes and respond to notices as needed
