We are assisting a family near Central Park, NYC, in hiring a 3rd Rotational Nanny (ROTA) to join their established childcare team (one of whom we have already placed). The family has one cheerful and healthy toddler and employs two highly experienced rotational nannies. This is a collaborative and structured environment where professionalism, emotional intelligence, and teamwork are essential. This position follows a 3-week on / 3-week off live-in rotation. The schedule is designed to provide consistent care.
The nanny lives in a shared three-bedroom apartment with the other ROTA nanny during the working rotation only.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide all care for a one-year-old during scheduled work timeMaintain a structured daily routine that supports developmental milestones and implement age-appropriate activitiesWork collaboratively with the other ROTA nanny and household staffEnsure a calm, respectful, and supportive environment for the familyCoordinate with parents, though all hands-on childcare is handled by the nanny teamParticipate in walks and outings with the familyPack and travel with the family when needed (domestic & international)Maintain discretion and uphold the family's privacy standards at all timesIdeal Candidate

15+ years of experience in private full-time nanny or rotational roles (flexible for the right personality)Infant / toddler experience requiredAbility to live-in during on-duty weeksComfortable with co-living in a shared nanny apartmentLegally authorized to work in the U.S.Current CPR, First Aid, COVID-19 vaccine, TDAP, and flu shotExcellent references and background check requiredLocal to NYC or the Tri-State AreaCompensation & Benefits
Salary : $125,000 annually, depending on experience (equivalent to combined regular and overtime compensation)Schedule : 3 weeks on / 3 weeks offHousing : Shared three-bedroom apartment during working shiftsTravel : Required; must be flexible and passport-readyBenefits : Health insurance, paid sick leave (no additional PTO provided due to extended scheduled off-weeks), and a 401(k) with employer match available after the probationary period.
