Job Description

The Content Producer is a hybrid content producer / videographer role responsible for end-to-end production of social-first video content across Instagram, Meta Ads and TikTok. You’ll concept, capture, and edit content that is sharable, premium and native to social platforms – while partnering closely with the Creative Team to shape the brand’s evolving visual identity. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media culture, has strong creative instincts, polished aesthetic sense and loves making content quickly and beautifully.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Concepting & Storytelling

  • Collaborate with the Creative team to develop original concepts, scripts, and visual treatments for paid and organic social content.
  • Translate creative briefs into compelling visual narratives that align with Pique’s brand aesthetic and campaign goals.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Strategist, Art Director, and Post Production Supervisor to ensure storytelling aligns with data-driven performance insights.

Production & On-Set Execution

  • Own all aspects of video production — pre-production planning, lighting, camera operation, sound, and on-set execution.
  • Capture a range of setups including studio, lifestyle, testimonial, and influencer-led shoots with attention to brand tone and authenticity.
  • Direct on-camera talent to deliver engaging, natural performances aligned with Pique’s voice.

    • Creative Collaboration & Workflow Alignment

  • Work within the creative production pipeline led by the Senior Creative Producer, ensuring all deliverables meet quality, file-naming, and delivery standards.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Paid Acquisition, CRM, and Influencer teams to align on messaging and execution timelines.
  • Participate in weekly creative reviews and post-mortems to analyze ad performance and identify new testing opportunities.
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication around timelines, shot needs, and post-production bandwidth.

    • Creative Art Direction

  • Translate brand guidelines, moodboards, and campaign briefs into visually cohesive concepts across multiple formats (paid social, YouTube, organic, CRM).
  • Stay current on emerging design and visual trends in social, beauty, and lifestyle spaces — proactively identifying styles, color palettes, and editing techniques that can make content feel fresh and relevant.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Creative Producer, Art Director, and Creative Strategist to develop shot lists, lighting approaches, and visual treatments that strengthen Pique’s storytelling.
  • Use a keen eye for detail in framing, texture, lighting, and product styling to ensure content feels premium, natural, and brand-authentic — even within lean production setups.
  • Demonstrate understanding of graphic integration and layout balance (type placement, negative space, on-screen captions, product focus) to support ad messaging and performance.
  • Maintain visual consistency across all deliverables, ensuring each piece contributes to Pique’s cohesive creative identity while allowing for creative experimentation and trend-driven evolution.
  • Stay current with evolving tools (CapCut, AI editing tools, native TikTok editor, etc.) to optimize workflow efficiency.

    • Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit and deliver ad-ready content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms in various aspect ratios (9 : 16, 4 : 5, 16 : 9).
  • Incorporate hooks, captions, and pacing optimized for performance and platform behavior.
  • Maintain color accuracy and consistency with Pique’s brand palette and aesthetic standards.
  • Collaborate with the Creative team and performance teams on versioning and iterative testing.

    • Asset Management & Delivery

  • Maintain organized project files, raw footage, and final exports in alignment with internal storage and labeling systems.
  • Ensure all deliverables are properly backed up, versioned, and easily accessible to the broader creative team.

    • Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience producing and editing high-performing short-form social content for brands (beauty, wellness, or lifestyle preferred).
  • Proven ability to execute end-to-end production independently — from concept to edit — without external support or large budgets.
  • Comfortable working lean and self-equipped , with access to a personal production kit (camera, lenses, lighting, and audio) that enables efficient, high-quality content capture. Additional equipment and production support provided for campaign-level shoots as needed.
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Skilled in lighting, color, framing, and composition (experience with Sony / Canon mirrorless systems).
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel for on-location shoots, influencer productions, or campaign events as needed (typically within California; occasional domestic travel).
  • Deep understanding of short-form storytelling, native social formats, and performance creative best practices.
  • Data-informed creative mindset — comfortable iterating based on performance results.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and beauty industries is a plus.
