Teaching Assistant / Research Assistant / Lab Coordinator - Federal Work Study

Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Biology department on the Gainesville campus. Student would work with helping prep labs for Environmental Science and Invertebrate Zoology. This includes maintaining / organizing specimens and updating written labs. Student will assist in processing samples from research on the Etowah River. Student may assist in grading labs for Environmental Science.

Responsibilities

• Curating specimens [cleaning, organization of shelves, refreshing jars of specimens, setting up / breaking down labs twice a week. Helping rewrite labs so they are more student friendly [make sense to me...]. Perhaps correcting HW in Environmental Science.
