Job Title : Part-Time Adaptive Physical Education Teacher

Location : El Centro, CA

Company : Platinum Therapy

Overview :

Platinum Therapy is a nationwide provider of comprehensive therapy services. We are currently seeking multiple Part -Time Adaptive Physical Education Teachers for in-person school-based roles in El Centro, CA.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide adaptive physical education instruction to students with diverse physical and developmental needs
  • Develop and implement individualized physical education plans
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and performance
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff

Requirements :

  • Valid California Adaptive Physical Education Specialist Credential
  • Experience working with students with disabilities in educational settings
  • Strong classroom and behavior management skills
  • Ability to adapt physical activities to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

    • Compensation & Benefits :

  • Salary : $40–$55 / hour (commensurate with experience)
