Level II Trauma Center air flight that flies in (closest in 50 mi radius) Beds : 411 Intermediate / PCU level of care experience – 1 year If only Med / Surg experience with some PCU – 2 years First-time traveler? Must have completed at least (2) 13-week assignments Trauma – Level 2 Trauma patients Neuro – Strokes, stable Craniotomies (Coils or Clips), CIWA, seizure precautions Medical / Surgical – Respiratory illnesses (COVID / Flu / Pneumonia), Long term trachs with vents, Respiratory Failure requiring Bipap or High Flow O2, COPD exacerbation, post-op General Surgery, Sepsis, IVDA, Thyroid storm Patient Types : Cardiac - STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, AFIB with RVR, s / p Cardiac Cath, s / p Ablation, 24h post op TAVR Patient Ratios : RN : 1 : 3-4 (Days & Nights), Tech : 1 : 6-12 (Days & Nights) – dependent on staffing BLS ACLS NIHSS AACCN (preferred) CCRN (preferred) Must have Trauma experience; experience with Stroke patients and performing Q2H neuro checks Experience with trached patients on vents (need to know how to administer 100% FiO2 via suction support and silence alarms) Experience with cardiac drips (Amio – set rate, Cardizem), Insulin – titrating Shift Times : 0700-1930 or 1900-0730 Weekend rotation : every other May be placed on Low Census Call back Can we approve time off?
