A company is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator Sr.
Key Responsibilities
Perform all tasks related to credentialing and re-credentialing providers according to quality standards and company policies
Handle payor enrollment and credentialing information confidentially, and support providers with licensure expirations
Process enrollment tasks, maintain provider licensure files, and verify credential statuses for reappointment and licensure
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate's degree is a plus
At least five (5) years of credential-related work experience required
Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
CPCS - Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist preferred but not required
Thorough knowledge of managed care provider credentialing principles and procedures
