Mortgage Fulfillment Underwriter

We're seeking an experienced Mortgage Fulfillment Underwriter to review, evaluate, and decision a full range of mortgage loansincluding FHA. You'll ensure accuracy, compliance, and investor guideline alignment while delivering timely and high-quality credit decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite conventional & FHA loans
• Review applications and documentation for accuracy
• Work with clients to resolve outstanding items
• Ensure Federal, State, and Local compliance
• Approve or deny loans in a timely manner
• Partner with internal teams and support quality standards

Qualifications:

• DE Certification (Direct Endorsement) required/preferred
• Expert-level mortgage underwriting experience
• Strong knowledge of DU/LP
• Understanding of mortgage regulations (including HMDA)
• Excellent communication & decision-making skills
• Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
