Travel Nurse RN - Oncology in Fort Wayne, IN

Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Inpatient Oncology Job Duration : Permanent Shift : Nights Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : At least 2 years of oncology or Med / Surg nursing experience License : Indiana RN license or compact license Certifications : BLS required, Oncology certification preferred Must-Have : - 1.5 years of Oncology or Med / Surg experience preferred Job Description : - Utilize various medical equipment including vital machines, bed alarms, bladder scanners, EMR-EPIC, SCDs, Bi-pap machines, suction, and lifts - Perform tasks such as managing central lines and conducting AM draws - Monitor patients receiving 24-hour chemotherapy but do not administer chemotherapy or care for radiation patients - Work 12-hour shifts with the potential to float to other departments such as medical, Med / Surg, and ONT - Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5 : 1 in a 22-bed unit - Adhere to the dress code of Caribbean Blue - Direct hire opportunity requiring acute setting RN experience - Eligible for sign-on bonus and possible relocation assistance
