Job Summary:Are you a dedicated and experienced RN with a passion for cardiac critical care? We're looking for a dynamic individual to take on the role of Director of Cardiac Critical Care Services at our 300+ bed medical center just outside of Charlotte, NC.

In this pivotal position, you'll be at the helm of the Cardiovascular ICU and Coronary Care Unit, ensuring top-notch patient care, clinical staff competency, and resource management. Reporting directly to our Chief Nursing Officer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality, safe, and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Care Champion: As the Director, you'll be the guardian of quality care within our units, striving for excellence in every aspect of patient treatment.
• Operational Efficiency: Oversee budgeting and financial efficiency to ensure the smooth running of our nursing units.
• Team Leadership: Lead and professionally develop our nursing staff by setting performance goals, providing feedback, and creating opportunities for growth.
• Recruitment and Training: Spearhead recruitment, hiring, and training efforts to ensure we have the best personnel.
• Committee Chair: Take on committee leadership roles as assigned, contributing to the strategic direction of our healthcare organization.
• Direct Patient Care: When needed, provide direct patient care to maintain your clinical skills.
• Round-the-Clock Responsibility: Assume 24/7 responsibility for your assigned areas, guaranteeing that patient care remains consistent.

Qualifications:

• RN Experience: A minimum of 5 years of RN experience is essential, with a strong background in ICU care.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
• Licensing: Possess a current RN license to practice in North Carolina or hold a compact state license.
• Certifications: BLC and ACLS certifications are a must.
• Management Experience: While not required, a minimum of 2 years of management experience is preferred.
