What You'll Do : Monitor and control access to the distribution and logistics location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Assist with visitor management by following site-specific access procedures and maintaining accurate records of all entries and departures. Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting employees and visitors as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Follow all site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and location management. Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent situations. Minimum Requirements : Loss prevention experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
