Employment Coordinator
Hours : 8am 4 : 30pm Monday-Friday Occasional Saturdays or as needed.
This position is responsible for strategically executing the full cycle recruitment process for all JBS employees by identifying the best candidate for all open roles. Day to day activities include assisting with job descriptions developing recruiting strategies posting positions job fairs reviewing resumes pre-screening and interviewing applicants scheduling interviews making offers and completing pre-employment requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Partner with hiring managers to define appropriate strategies to fill open positions in a timely manner.
- Utilize recruiting tools to actively source candidates for key positions.
- Conduct phone screens and / or on-site interviews with candidates to determine technical skills and culture fit with JBS.
- Assist with continuous improvement of recruiting processes strategies etc.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with external recruiting sources including temporary agencies recruiting agencies advertising mediums etc.
- Assist with recruiting related compliance requirements including EEO compliance and applicant tracking.
- Assist with execution of offer and pre-hire paperwork to ensure all new hire requirements are delivered to candidates and completed in a timely manner.
- Contribute to company-wide hiring and HR initiatives.
- Share responsibility for improving the overall Recruiting function by increasing knowledge taking on new responsibilities and suggesting new and improved methodology.
- Responsible for other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
1-2years previous experience in direct sourcing and recruiting passive candidates requiredExperience using Jobvite and other active sourcing toolsStrong organizational follow up and negotiation skills requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to multi-task and handle high work volumeAbility to maintain confidentiality of employee related informationProficient with MS Office suiteBilingual preferred but nor required (Spanish Somali Sudanese Etc.)Minimum 1-year experience preferred dealing with I-9s and knowledge of acceptable documents for employment purposesSAP JobVite Kronos or other experience a plusEOE / VET / DISABLED
