[job_card.job_description]Create weekly Change Requests Perform consulting and planning for network solutions Configure switch ports and Cisco routers Perform migrations (MPLS to DMVPN / SG) Upgrade Cisco Router IOS and Cisco Switch IOS Configure Cisco switches and routers Perform onsite inventory management duties weekly Install VCE phones and ATA devices Perform Aruba IAP code upgrades Configure SD-WAN solutions Perform IOS upgrades across devices Conduct site surveys and bandwidth upgrades Design network solutions Additional tasks : WAP installs, circuit upgrades CCNA-level expertise Strong experience with Routing & Switching and Cisco SD-WAN Knowledge of VLANs, IP addressing, and basic routing Ability to walk onsite techs through equipment installation remotely Aruba wireless experience is a plus No flexibility on location – candidate will be involved in shipping & receiving of equipment at the Richmond warehouse Occasional evening work for implementations (not frequent)

Hours : 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM EST (Occasional evening implementations after 7 PM; shift adjusted accordingly)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Network Engineer (CCNA level) to support hybrid operations in Richmond, VA. This role involves hands-on network engineering tasks, planning, and coordination with onsite technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong routing / switching skills and Cisco SD-WAN experience, with the ability to guide others through equipment installations.
