Chemical Operator Job Details
Monday-Friday | 7am-3:30pm | $20/hr
• Overtime possible and mandatory
Chemical Operator Requirements
• Must have a high school or equivalent education with excellent communication skills, the ability to read, write and perform math calculations.
• Be physically capable of climbing ladders and lift 50 pounds.
• Demonstrate the ability to work safely and properly use personal protective equipment.
• Must have 1 year of chemical handling experience.
About the Chemical Operator Role
As a Chemical Operator, your responsibilities will include:
• Perform daily production tasks for the blending, drumming and bagging departments.
• Retrieve material and supplies needed for the daily production schedule.
• Operate necessary material handling equipment to service customer accounts.
• Read service orders and accurately follow written instruction. Report known instruction errors to the department supervisor immediately.
• Work in a cooperative manner with fellow employees
• Advise supervision of the work in progress to maintain the production schedule.
• Inform the department supervisor of non-conformance issues in accordance the with the ISO-9000 quality program.
• Work in a safe manner in compliance with regulatory training.
