Job Opportunity : Home Repair Technician

Crew Property Improvement Specialists provide reliable, high-quality home repair and maintenance services to Realtors and Homeowners in Marion and all surrounding counties. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Home Repair Technician to join our team. This is a full time Monday-Friday W2 position. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Requirements :

  • Holds a valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance
  • Can pass a background check
  • Possesses all tools to complete a variety of repairs
  • Presentable full size truck or van
  • At least 7 years of verifiable experience in the remodeling or home repair trades
  • Owns a smartphone and has reliable access to the internet for scheduling, communication, and job updates

Responsibilities :

  • Perform wide range of home repairs, including (but not limited to) drywall, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roof repair, exterior trim / siding of all types and painting tasks.
  • Diagnose issues and determine the most cost effective and safe repair solutions.
  • Utilize personal tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned projects.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, punctuality, reliability, and accountability.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

    • Qualifications :

  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working in tight spaces.
  • Comfort with working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Overall positive attitude.
  • Specialized licenses or certifications (a plus)
