Key Responsibilities

Provide crisis-counseling services via phone, aiming to answer 95% of calls within 20 seconds

Conduct safety assessments, safety planning, de-escalation, and follow-up with help seekers

Mentor volunteers and maintain accurate documentation of interactions in real time

Required Qualifications

Minimum of six months of relevant behavioral health experience; one year in crisis intervention preferred

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be 18 years of age or older

Ability to effectively use web-based platforms and electronic documentation systems

Open availability and flexibility to work within the program's operating hours, including weekends and holidays
