Quality Assurance Technician

Spherion Staffing is hiring an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join a local manufacturing company in Wichita Falls, TX! The working schedule is Monday-Friday day shift, 40 hrs / wk, for $18.50 / hr.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for all aspects of quality to maintain quality standards set by the company.
• Responsible for all Quality Assurance testing of finished product in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Perform a variety of physical testing of products including rubber ring testing, quick burst, impact, brabender, flattening, long term testing and all other Quality Assurance testing.
• Completes paperwork and reports as needed.
• Uses micrometers and other tools to assess and inspect product.
• Checks the quality of finished goods, including those loaded for delivery, and returned goods for acceptance to stock.
• Reviews stocked pipe periodically and identifies damaged product to be removed from inventory.
• Must maintain area to be clean and free from safety hazards.

Working hours : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM

Skills :

Must be able to perform manual labor and wear steel toes for duration of 12 hr shift and lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.

Education : High School

Experience : 1-4 years

Qualifications :

Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Proven experience in quality control and production

Must be able to read micrometers.
