Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work Hybrid with our client in Indianapolis, IN. Interested?

Pay : $63.16 / hr.

Hours : 40 hrs / Week.

Length : Contract (12 months).

Here's what you'd do :

• Develop and deliver new component designs and design changes for high-performance gas turbine gears (and related transmission components such as shafts, bearings, and seals), including creating design concepts, optimising, finalising, creating drawings / model-based definitions, and releasing hardware.
• Perform strength, lifting, durability, and performance analyses to validate component suitability for new engine applications or life extension of existing ones.
• Manage dimensional tolerance stacks, GD&T, and tolerance analysis to ensure fit, function, and manufacturability of gear systems.
• Interface with manufacturing, quality, supply chain and aftermarket teams : review supplier documentation, assess non-conforming hardware, handle change proposals, support production and service issues.
• Conduct investigations of in-service or prototype hardware issues, including failure analysis, root cause & corrective action (RCCA), and implement design improvements.
• Present and defend design solutions to programme leadership, collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams (analysis, manufacturing, materials, MRO).
• Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace design standards, safety, and product integrity principles.
