The opportunity

The Knowledge Management Consultant explores solutions to give staff members access to accurate information in the best medium possible. You will strengthen the link between departments through information sharing by documenting business processes and keeping the information updated. The Knowledge Management Consultant maintains the systems that house information and partners with several company partners including the Learning and Development team, Communications team, and other partners to ensure content is accurate. You will report directly to our Knowledge Management Manager.

You'll Get To :

  • Promote knowledge sharing through our operational business processes identifying appropriate channels for storing information
  • Document processes and protocols and create procedures to maintain information integrity.
  • Recommend tools and knowledge management systems to promote ease of use and access to information.
  • Maintain Content Management System information and make updates.
  • Monitor and evaluate the knowledge sharing system, work with partners to identify opportunities and improvements. Provide knowledge management best practices to company partners.
  • Work with us and our partners to identify opportunities and improvements to content structure, appropriate knowledge base, or repository for information.
  • Distribute policy or process changes to appropriate audiences and maintain version control.
  • Identify when policy updates necessitate training, communication, knowledge articles, or meetings.
  • Work with the Curriculum Developer to identify accurate information to inform training content.
  • Participate in meetings and work with partners to document process updates.
  • Participate in team level evaluation of work queue, projects, and priorities.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What we're Looking For :

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Technical Writing, English, Linguistics, Library Science, Psychology, Philosophy, etc.)
  • 1 year of related experience such as process improvement, knowledge base management, creating knowledge articles, creating training resources, or creating standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to work with senior leadership and internal company partners.
  • Willingness to use and learn technical systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, and request management systems.

    Compensation

    The annual pay range for this position is $48,301.00 - $77,296.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $53,373.00 - $72,210.00.
