Credit Bureau Dispute Specialist
Our client is implementing a new process for their disputes team and going line by line for LOB. These Consultants would come in and handle the current old system and processes (BAU), while the current team gets trained and learns their new processes they're implementing. These are a regulatory-driven deadline so if they don't get the disputes done within 30 days they get in trouble so there's a lot to ramp up.
Job Description Summary
The Credit Bureau Dispute Specialist researches direct and indirect credit bureau disputes; responds to customers and credit reporting agencies to ensure discrepancies are resolved and timely follow up occurs. Depth & Scope :

MUST HAVE : eOscar exp, know what FCRA is and what it stands for
Need to know : What type of FCRA dispute processing experience do you have? / What are the different types of FCRA disputes?
Superior analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to use / learn current technology and software applications related to position
Knowledgeable of state and federal laws and agencies applicable to collections, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Dodd-Frank Act
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills; 40+ WPM and use of 10-Key pad

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
