Key responsibilities

Patient care :

Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and monitor their condition throughout. This includes gathering medical history and obtaining consent.

Procedure assistance :

Work alongside cardiologists during procedures, such as catheterizations and stent placements.

Equipment operation and maintenance :

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot specialized equipment, including cardiac monitors, imaging machines (like fluoroscopy), and various catheters.

Patient monitoring :

Continuously monitor the patient's vital signs and hemodynamic data, watching for any adverse reactions or complications.

Lab preparation :

Prepare the sterile field and equipment before each procedure.

Documentation :

Accurately document procedure details, patient information, and billing charges.

Safety and compliance :

Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety regulations, and sterile techniques to ensure patient safety.
