Hours : 40 hours / week

Pay : $80$90 / hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join the inpatient pharmacy team. The Pharmacist plays a key role in supporting patient care through accurate medication preparation therapeutic guidance and collaboration with the clinical team. This position ensures safe effective and evidence-based use of medications in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare dispense and verify medications with accuracy and adherence to all safety protocols.

Provide medication-related expertise and guidance to physicians nurses and other clinical staff.

Monitor and evaluate patient drug therapies including dosing kinetics and therapeutic appropriateness.

Make individualized therapeutic recommendations based on patient condition and clinical evidence.

Educate patients on medication use dosing side effects and interactions.

Support inpatient pharmacy operations across various hospital units as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong ability to accurately and efficiently dispense medications.

Knowledge of formulary processes and non-formulary workflows.

Proficiency in providing dosing therapeutic and pharmacokinetic recommendations.

Experience conducting patient medication education.

Specialty Requirements :

Chemotherapy preparation experience

Ability to float to Critical Care Pediatrics Oncology Transplant Medicine and Cardiac units

Must have inpatient hospital experience (retail or mail-order experience not accepted).

Must adhere to all internal workflow and process updates.

Education & Experience

Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy

02 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist
