Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Plainfield, IL
Shift: Rotating 2-2-3 schedule (A or B shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $20/hour
About the Role:
Integrity Trade Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our client’s team in a fast-paced packaging warehouse environment. This pivotal role involves hands-on quality support to ensure the highest standards in product quality, process integrity, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze preforms and other materials from production lines to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform visual inspections and measurements, including weight, color, and thickness readings, based on training and approved protocols.
- Record and input data accurately into Infinity (training provided), supporting data integrity and traceability.
- Support rework activities by identifying defective products and collaborating with production teams for corrective actions.
- Assist in implementing process improvements and quality initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and quality management systems such as TQM, ISO 22000, and FSSC standards.
- Support ongoing training and development activities to enhance quality assurance skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Demonstrated background in quality assurance, process improvement, or manufacturing environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Knowledge of Food Safety Certifications (ISO 22000, FSSC) and Quality Management Systems (TQM, 6-Sigma, EHS standards) is preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Adaptable to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and creative approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month
accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave
- 401(k) with company match for eligible employees.
Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.
The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
