Mechanical Design Engineer

Location : Shelton CT (must work onsite)

Length of Assignment : 3-6 months

Manager is looking for a Degreed Mechanical Design Engineer with ideally 5 years of experience. Candidate must have experience working in a New Product Development environment. Must have experience working with injection molded plastic parts electro-mechanical assemblies moving mechanisms. Ideal candidate will have experience in the design and development of medical devices (not medical machinery). Candidate as mentioned must have a Bachelors in Engineering. Must have experience working with Solidworks. Must have experience working from the development of concept through to prototype (this company does not manufacture the product only bringing it thought to prototype stage) as well as experience with testing and some analysis. Ideally the candidate will be local in CT but manager will look at candidates from out of stat but will discuss the candidates willingness to come to CT on an interview.
