The Program Manager is responsible for guiding our customers’ projects through the SEACOMP new product introduction (NPI) Process into mass production.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Manage projects from start, through NPI, and into mass production, serving as the primary point of contact between the customer and SEACOMPWork closely with SEACOMP sales, operations, engineering, and production teams to translate customer requirements into project plansOwn project scope, budget, schedule and qualityTrack and report key project metrics internally and externallyUpdate and maintain project plans and documentationLead regular project status meetings with relevant external and internal stakeholdersIdentify, communicate, and mitigate risks and obstacles to the success of each projectManage customer driven and internal changes through SEACOMP’s Change Management processIdentify opportunities and contribute to Continuous ImprovementTravel occasionally to customer locations and SEACOMP factories in service of project objectivesLanguage
Must demonstrate advanced professional competency in English, including speaking, listening, reading and writingSkills in Spanish are not required, but are a plusSkills in Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese are not required, but are a plusQualifications :
Bachelors’ Degree5 years of experience in New Product Development / New Product Introduction with 1-2 years in a Project Management roleExperience scaling products into volume manufacturingProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plusValid passport and the ability to travel internationally (primarily Mexico and China).Benefits :
