Levatas AI enables mobile robots, autonomous drones and unmanned submersibles to understand what they're seeing in our customer's dynamic, real-world environments, alerting human co-workers to potential safety, security, and maintenance anomalies. These automated inspections solutions keep humans out of harm's way, enhance system reliability, reduce operating costs and increase asset performance.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer with full-stack capabilities and experience in UI / UX design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React / TypeScript, Python, Redis, MongoDB, and Docker. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in West Palm Beach, Florida, with flexibility for periodic work-from-home days.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using React / TypeScript for the frontend and Python for the backend.
  • Design and implement UI / UX improvements to enhance user experience.
  • Work with databases such as Redis and MongoDB.
  • Deploy and manage applications using Docker.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer with full-stack capabilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in git, merging, branch management, and merge conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in React / TypeScript and Python.
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Software Engineering augmented with AI (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Configuring & Running GitHub Actions
  • Bootstrap CSS and Bootstrap CSS3 Flexbox & Grids.
  • Experience with Redis and MongoDB ideal.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of UI / UX principles.
