LTS Sub Separate Program Assistants

$125 per day

Position Purpose

  • Supporting students with toileting and feeding needs;some students may require physical transfers; supporting instruction and implementing programs / lesson plans created by the Special Education Teacher; escorting students to and from pick up / drop off locations during arrival and dismissal; supporting and implementing behavior plans as directed by BCBA and / or classroom teacher.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required with associates degree or higher preferred
  • Experience working with children / students
  • Experience assisting in program implementation
  • Ability to work with professional staff
  • Outstanding preparation and / or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.

    • Additional Duties :

  • Support students with disabilities in inclusive and substantially separate settings
  • Needs to assist with a behavior plan implementation
  • ?- Provide academic support as needed
  • May need to support feeding and toileting need
  • Monitoring for attention, work completion and social navigation
  • Perform duties as assigned by school administration
  • Other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher
