IDR is seeking a Telecommunications Technician to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Thornton, CO. This role focuses on supporting and maintaining voice communication systems within a large district environment, providing hands-on support across multiple sites. The successful candidate will be part of a team ensuring reliable voice infrastructure and equipment functionality.

Position Overview for the Telecommunications Technician :

  • Provide support for the district’s Mitel VoIP Telephone System as part of the Infrastructure Operations team
  • Install, configure, maintain, monitor, and repair voice-related equipment across multiple district sites
  • Support and troubleshoot VoIP endpoints, voicemail systems, analog phone lines, and related components
  • Work hands-on in MDF / IDF environments, ensuring proper installation and equipment testing
  • Collaborate effectively with network / infrastructure teams, maintaining accurate documentation and communication

Requirements for the Telecommunications Technician :

  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting VoIP telephone endpoints and services
  • Basic telephone station troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to support VoIP systems
  • Ability to support analog phone lines and related components
  • Experience working in MDF / IDF environments
