About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Optometry MD in Montana!

We are seeking an Optometrist for a locum tenens assignment in Montana, starting Nov 10, 2025, for a 120-day contract. This role offers a Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm schedule and involves providing general optometry care to patients of all ages in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive optometric care to adults and children
  • Perform routine eye examinations and vision tests
  • Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and eyewear
  • Conduct general bread and butter optometry procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Adhere to clinical protocols and state regulations

    • Additional Information

  • Must hold an active optometry license in Montana
  • Clean background required
  • Experience with both adult and pediatric patients preferred
  • Board certification in Optometry required
