What youll do :

As a Dental Assistant you will workto enhance the daily operations of the clinic by providing excellent care and communication to our patients. As aDental Assistant you will :

Prepares sterilizes disinfects and maintains dental equipment instruments and supplies

Collects and records patient health histories take impressions and x-rays

Ensures patient comfort during dental procedures

Prepares dental materials (cements amalgam composite impression materials etc.)

Completes charting of treatment information in the patients dental notes from the doctor as directed

Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies

Cleans / polishes removable devices; fabricate temporary restorations custom trays study models

Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient

Maintains infection control procedures patient privacy and professional interactions with patients and staff

Assist administrative team with customer service functions

Present treatment plans to patients

What Were Looking For :

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program preferred

2 years Dental assistant experience REQUIRED

Bilingual (English / Spanish) strongly preferred

Previous customer service or office experience

Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days indental terminology and dental software for charting treatment planning clinical notes etc.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Foster a positive attitude and be a team player

Patient Care Hours :

Monday 8 : 30am to 6 : 00pm

Tuesday8 : 30am to 6 : 00pm

Wednesday 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm

Thursday 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm

Pay : $20.75 - $30.00 per hour
