Pay : $32–$35 / hour (or based on experience)

Full-time | Direct Hire, temp-to-hire

Position : Maintenance Technician – Metal Manufacturing

Allegiance Staffing is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for a well-established metal manufacturing company. This company specializes in producing metal-stamped parts for the appliance, automotive, defense, and consumer product industries. Due to the nature of production, multiple die changes occur each shift.

We’re looking for a self-motivated, mechanically skilled professional who can troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is adaptable, a strong team player, and a proactive problem-solver.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on machinery and equipment.

Identify and resolve issues by observing operations and troubleshooting using PLCs.

Disassemble machinery and replace or repair defective components.

Inspect and measure parts to determine necessary changes or replacements.

Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Maintain electrical systems (e.g., replace light fixtures, sockets, repair panels).

Work with departments to promptly resolve maintenance issues.

Perform routine building maintenance and light landscaping as needed.

Accurately document maintenance tasks and communicate concerns to leadership.

Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (metal stamping, assembly, packaging).

Press mechanic experience required.

Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.

Proficient in reading blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.

Strong time management, independence, and adaptability.

Able to safely and effectively maintain industrial machinery.
