Virginia Licensed Structural Engineer

A company is looking for a Plan Review Engineer (Structural Plan Engineer).

Key Responsibilities

Review plans for compliance with building codes and standards, providing written feedback to project managers

Conduct interdisciplinary inspections during construction to ensure adherence to approved documents and regulations

Process building permits and assist in training staff on code-related issues

Required Qualifications

ABET accredited Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent experience

Significant experience in structural systems evaluation and building inspection processes

Knowledge of building codes, life safety codes, and construction methods

Virginia-Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required; additional certifications must be obtained within one year

Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment
