Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Under the direction of the Laboratory Director and Supervisor, the Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Lead Medical Technologist) uses professional knowledge and judgment to perform technical, analytical, clerical and quality assurance functions within laboratory department section(s) as well as to supervise and coordinate laboratory activities as a whole during assigned shift or during assigned periods of time.

Required qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California upon hire or
• California Clinical Chemist Scientist License upon hire or
• California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License upon hire or
• California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License upon hire or
• California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License upon hire or
• California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License upon hire or
• California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License upon hire or
• California Clinical Hematology Scientist License upon hire or
• California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License upon hire or
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License upon hire.
• 3 years of California Licensed Medical Technologist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist in an acute care facility.
