Description :

This is a contract position for a Respiratory Therapist for 13 weeks.

The shift for this position is from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.

The unit typically has 205 beds and a total of 35 staff members.

There are specific roles comprising one charge nurse during the day shift and five staff members covering ER, ICU, and floors.

The night shift staffing ratios are not applicable.

Key equipment includes ventilators models PB 980 and 840, Bipap units V-60, and Siemens ABG instruments.

The Electronic Medical Record system in use is Meditech.

Permanent positions are available on the unit.

Typical procedures performed include ventilator and Bipap management, aerosol therapies, chest physiotherapy, and oxygen therapy.

The ideal candidate will be a team player.

Dress code consists of sage tops and black pants.

The unit boasts a 0% annual turnover due to excellent teamwork.

The unit offers state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

Tenure and experience of staff is notable, and schedule options are available.
