Title : PL / SQL Developer Lead

Location : San Jose, CA (Onsite, 5x per week)

Duration : 6 Months (Contract)

Job Description :

We are seeking a PL / SQL Developer Lead with strong expertise in Oracle database development and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SQL and PL / SQL programming, performance tuning, and database management across multiple Oracle versions. This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL / SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and functions .
  • Perform SQL and PL / SQL performance tuning for large-scale enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with application developers and DBAs to optimize database queries and improve performance.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design efficient database solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and cross-functional teams.
  • Document database processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 4-8 years of hands-on experience in RDBMS, Oracle SQL, and PL / SQL development.
  • Proven experience with Oracle 10g, 11g, and 19c environments.
  • Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization , and database troubleshooting .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
