We’re Hiring : Billing & Coding Specialist (Hospital Claims Analyst)

Dallas, TX (ONSITE)

$60, 000–$80, 000 / year + Bonus (up to $15–20K!)

Position Details

Salary : $60, 000–80, 000 / year (above Dallas market average!)

Bonus Eligible : Up to $15–20K annually

Hours : Start between 7 : 00–8 : 30 AM , 8.5-hour workdays

Dress Code : Business casual

Perks : $12 / day lunch stipend

Benefits : Health, Dental, 401(k) after 6 months with 4% match

Interview Process : One-step onsite : short multiple-choice assessment →meet with Hiring Director

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for an analytical, detail-oriented expert who can independently manage complex hospital claims. The ideal candidate has :

5–10 years of hospital claims , UB-04 billing , denials , and appeals experience

Strong understanding of hospital revenue cycle management

Ability to “dig deep”into aged accounts and identify the best recovery pathways

Experience drafting strong medical appeals

Excellent communication skills with providers & insurers

Ability to interpret payer contracts , reimbursement policies, and coding ( CPT, ICD, modifiers )

Comfort working in a research-heavy role focused on older claims

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Key Responsibilities

Manage and collect on denied hospital UB-04 claims with accuracy & efficiency

Draft detailed, persuasive medical appeals to maximize recoveries

Investigate aged claims and determine optimal strategies for resolution

Communicate with payers and healthcare providers to expedite outcomes

Analyze claims, coding, and payer rules to identify discrepancies and opportunities
