Marketing Director

Marketing Director (Buyer)

• Analyze consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends
• Regularly review performance indicators to ensure optimal skills are represented
• Regularly review margins to ensure products are set at appropriate levels
• Manage planograms and stock levels in stores to ensure proper product and contract terms are met
• Facilitate in store displays and ensure stores have necessary product and branding in timely fashion
• Meet and negotiate with existing suppliers and source new suppliers for future products, pricing, promotions, and slotting payments
• Meet with other department heads to ensure implementation of programs
• Regularly analyze sales data
• Maintain company loyalty program by analyzing promotional activity and setting new promotions
• Develop promotional activities in conjunction with suppliers to meet sales goals
• Prepare and submit detailed reports (revenues, forecasting, etc.)
• Track vendor payments to ensure all contractual funds are collected
• Responsible for all public facing materials including print, digit, and in-store media

• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
• Travel up to 10% of the time.

Education:
Bachelors Degree required. Master's degree preferred.
