Volunteer - Clinical

Do you have a clinical skill you would like share with the patients at North Side Christian Health Center?

All clinical volunteers are asked to provide proof of current immunizations, provide clearances (Act 33,34, 73), complete 5 hours of orientation & clinical compliance modules and commit to a consistent schedule (which would be adapted to your availability and NSCHC business operations) for a minimum of 4 months.

Clinical skills currently needed :

• Nutrition and dietary consultations for patients
• Pharmaceutical consultants for patients and providers
• Chart review for quality improvement initiatives
• Clinical support in the medical and dental departments (triage, sterilization, patient scheduling and reminders)
• Care coordinating and navigation – ideal for individuals with experience in Pittsburgh's largest healthcare systems, social workers
