As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents while supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Pay Rate : $18.26 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and / or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Provide support to staff and visitors by offering directions, information, and assistance as needed within the healthcare location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least six months of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
