Physical Therapist - Acute / Inpatient Rehab PRN

Your role will encompass initial screening and evaluation, developing and implementing treatment plans, re-assessing progress, planning for discharge, and thorough documentation of care.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patient history, performing targeted assessments, and determining treatment recommendations. Clearly communicate findings and involve patients and their families in the goal-setting process.

Implement treatment protocols effectively, based on evaluation results and patient needs. Consult with other healthcare professionals when necessary and document any changes in patient conditions that may require modifications to the care plan.

Oversee the discharge planning process and ensure follow-up care is in place. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Manage your time efficiently while meeting productivity standards. Foster a positive patient experience by remaining flexible, adaptable, and empathetic in a patient-centered environment.

Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education. Take on the role of a clinical instructor for students and assist in orienting new team members.

Qualifications :

Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral).

Current licensure in Maryland, DC, or Virginia, as applicable to your work location.

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

This position offers competitive compensation at a rate of USD $55.00 per hour.
