[job_card.job_description]Design and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical equipment to ensure reliability and uptime. Oversee installation, maintenance, and upgrades of all plant electrical systems, including power distribution, automation, and control systems. Lead capital projects from initial concept through execution, handling budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations at all times. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute process optimization initiatives that boost efficiency and reduce costs. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and operational issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing production performance. Develop and enforce safety protocols, creating a culture of safety and regulatory compliance throughout the facility. Monitor manufacturing processes for quality, quickly identifying defects and implementing corrective actions. Champion sustainable practices and ensure ongoing environmental compliance in all operations. Maintain meticulous records of maintenance, repairs, equipment specifications, and other key data, and ensure all engineering team records are up to date. At least 5 years of experience in plant engineering or industrial maintenance, with proven expertise in electrical systems. Comprehensive knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, industrial automation, and troubleshooting electrical systems in a manufacturing setting. Strong project management skills and demonstrable experience leading capital projects end to end.
