NPORT Staffing is seeking compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join our team at a well-established skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in the Middletown, NY area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping residents regain independence and enhance their quality of life through individualized evidence-based therapy programs.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.

Provide rehabilitative services to improve mobility, self-care skills, and overall independence.

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapist, speech therapists, nurses and physicians.

Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes according to facility and regulatory standards.

Educate residents, families and caregivers on adaptive techniques and assistive equipment

Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

Education : Master's or doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.

Licensure : Current New York State Occupational Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain one).

Experience : Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Skills : Strong Communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach.
