Carpenters

Ultimate LLC is urgently seeking skilled Carpenters to join our Job Site Trailer Install & Set?Up Crew for commercial projects in the Elgin, IL area. Pay ranges from $23-25 per hour , depending on experience, with 40+ hours per week available. We offer weekly pay , no week in the hole , and optional direct deposit .

Job Duties

Carpenters on the Trailer Set?Up Crew will be responsible for tasks related to the installation, assembly, and preparation of job site trailers, including :

  • Installing and assembling modular job site trailers
  • Framing, trim work, and general carpentry tasks related to trailer setup
  • Building and installing ramps, stairs, platforms, and skirting
  • Assisting with leveling, anchoring, and securing trailer units
  • Light interior work such as paneling, basic drywall repair, and fixture installation
  • Assisting with minor electrical and plumbing hookups (as directed)
  • Site cleanup and material handling
  • Ensuring safe, efficient, and high?quality work throughout the setup process
  • Working effectively within a team and following direction from crew leads

Requirements

  • 1+ years of carpentry or construction experience
  • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods
  • Basic hand tools required
  • PPE : Hard hat, safety vest, and steel?toe boots
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Drug test required
  • Background check required
