[job_card.job_description]Varied work schedule assignment BLS and ACLS certification required Current, valid RN license in state of practice required Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in specialty area Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs Formulate and implement plan of care including discharge planning Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of health care team activities Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching Participate in unit or facility shared leadership activities Interact with physicians, patients, families and external contacts regarding patient health care Physical demands include ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach frequently May be required to lift up to 75 pounds Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area Referral bonus
